Job Title : Finance Controller

Reports to : Group CFO

Location : HO- Noida

Job Purpose :

As a Finance Controller in our company, you will oversee all financial activities to ensure the financial health and integrity of the organization. You will play a pivotal role in managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting operations to support our strategic goals and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities :

1. Financial Planning and Strategy:

a. Develop financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives and monitor their implementation.

b. Prepare financial forecasts and budgets, and analyze variances to ensure financial stability.

c. Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and projections.

2. Strategic Planning and Execution:

a. Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute strategic initiatives that support long-term growth and profitability.

b. Conduct strategic reviews and analyses to assess market trends, competitive dynamics, and business opportunities.

c. Drive the development of business plans, financial models, and investment strategies to capitalize on growth opportunities.

3. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

a. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

b. Conduct financial analysis, interpret trends, and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

c. Monitor financial performance and report on key metrics to management and stakeholders.

4. Risk Management and Compliance:

a. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.

b. Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to financial operations.

c. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.

5. Cash Flow Management:

a. Manage cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds for ongoing operations and investment needs.

b. Optimize working capital and liquidity management to support business growth and mitigate financial risks.

6. Financial Operations and Systems:

a. Oversee accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

b. Evaluate and enhance financial systems and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

c. Implement financial policies and procedures to maintain transparency and accountability across the organization.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.

Experience:

- Proven experience (15+ years) as a Finance Controller, preferably in the manufacturing or renewable energy sector

Mandatory Education - CA with a specialization in Finance.
