Role Overview

- As AGM Vendor Management Inventory, you will be responsible for the execution and operational management of VMI across Medanta units.

- You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate stock management, compliance with SOPs, and smooth vendor interactions, supporting cost efficiency and patient care.

Location: Gurgaon

Reporting To: Vice President Procurement & Supply Chain

Work Days: 6 Days

Key Responsibilities

- Execute day-to-day VMI operations, ensuring accuracy of stock levels across hospital units.

- Conduct regular VMI analysis to identify inefficiencies and propose corrective measures.

- Ensure timely receipt and reconciliation of credit notes, discounts, and vendor settlements.

- Support vendor negotiations by providing analytical insights on procurement trends and spend.

- Implement SOPs at the unit level and monitor compliance during audits.

- Track and reconcile stock movements to prevent shortages or overstocking.

- Collaborate with hospital departments to ensure VMI supports clinical and financial needs.

- Maintain records for discounts, TODs, and credit reconciliations to ensure transparency.

Qualifications

- Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Operations, Healthcare Management, or equivalent.

- 10-12 years of experience in inventory/supply chain management, preferably in healthcare.

- Exposure to vendor coordination, procurement execution, and ERP-based stock management.

Skills & Traits

- Detail-oriented with strong audit and compliance acumen.

- Analytical thinker with hands-on ERP/inventory management expertise.

- Effective communicator and team collaborator.

- Problem-solver with the ability to handle operational escalations
