Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct statutory audits under the Companies Act, 2013
- Perform tax audits as per the Income Tax Act, 1961
- Finalize financial statements in accordance with applicable standards
- Apply strong technical knowledge of Ind AS, AS, and SA for audit execution
- Carry out internal audits and limited reviews
- Supervise teams of accountants and articled assistants
- Communicate with clients and overseas counterparts as required
- Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for clients
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams within the firm
- Delegate work efficiently and provide training to team members
- Contribute to developing skills and competencies of subordinates
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Chartered Accountant with relevant audit experience
- Alternatively, Non-CAs with 5+ years of experience in a team leader role
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax laws, and audit procedures
- Basic knowledge of FEMA and Corporate Laws
- Proven experience in client handling and team management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Excel
