
Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is design and implementing Max Estates' Corporate strategy internally and externally. The role involved co-leading business strategy function at MEL and drive cross functional initiatives. Bringing in outside-in insights and market intelligence on key trends within RE sector to shape the RE portfolio of MEL and Driving execution of long-term strategic growth options and eventually transition to lead a new business unit as in "intrapreneur"
Role and Responsibilities:
- Formulation and support in the execution of Business strategy
- Long term growth options - future growth corridors in terms of market, asset classes and customer segment
- GTM strategy for the growth corridors including drafting the blueprint to identify and monetise those opportunities in the longer term
Cross-functional opportunities:
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend analysis.
- Identify strategic initiatives (e.g., diversification, digital transformation, geographic expansion).
- Identifying key trends across RE value chain and translating them into strategic initiatives relevant for MEL. Build a playbook for cone concepts that will differentiate MEL versus the. competition
- Competitive and marketing intelligence for the segments we are operating in
- Identification of key strategic initiatives cutting across digital, ESG, SOP, Design to execute and implement in a cross-functional setting
- Communicating and implementing the company's strategy internally and externally.
- Driving decision-making for medium-and long-term improvement.
- Establishing and reviewing key strategic priorities and translating them into a comprehensive strategic plan.
- Facilitating and driving key strategic initiatives through inception phase. Should an initiative achieve escape velocity, there is also the option to lead the business unit as an intrapreneur and build out the business
- Ensuring departmental/unit strategic planning projects reflect organizational strategic priorities.
