Mashreq - Senior Manager - Technology - Wholesale Risk Domain

- Hold direct responsibility for implementing Risk systems related to Regulatory and Digitization initiatives within the Risk Management division.

- Plan, manage, execute, track, and implement both functional and technical requirements in the Risk domain.

- Oversee and monitor multiple workstreams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

- Ensure effective application management and production stability following change deployments.

- Drive stakeholder management by maintaining strong collaboration across business, IT, and support teams.

Project Delivery:

- Lead and govern project execution across the full SDLC-planning, analysis, development, testing, and support.

- Ensure timely delivery of milestones within scope, budget, and quality expectations.

- Drive adherence to non-functional requirements and maintain proper documentation standards.

- Review and finalize solution architectures in collaboration with teams like Architecture, Data, ISG, and Security.

- Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to teams without direct involvement in execution.

Change Delivery:

- Ensure successful delivery of application enhancements and change requests.

- Monitor project timelines and risk mitigation strategies.

- Oversee coordination across IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver bug fixes and feature upgrades.

Application Ownership:

- Take ownership of Risk domain applications in the cluster.

- Be accountable for application stability, performance, and operational resilience.

- Drive resolution of critical production issues, root cause analysis, and preventive action planning.

- Establish a roadmap for future upgrades and scalability of the application landscape.

- Innovation And Continuous Improvement.

- Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and process improvements.

- Encourage adoption of modern tools and methodologies across the delivery teams.

- Drive innovation by applying trending technologies to solve business problems effectively.

Stakeholder And Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across business and technology.

- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for leadership and cross-functional teams for application health, delivery status, and escalations.

- Over 10 years of total experience in the technology domain within Banking and Financial Services, managing and implementing risk-related applications like OFSAA IFRS9, Financial SpreadingSpreadsmart, App4legal.

- Strong techno-functional expertise in OFSAA IFRS9, Basel, Financial Spreading tools (Spreadsmart), App4Legal, or similar analytical solutions.

- Proficient in Oracle, SQL Server with strong knowledge in Data transformation techniques and writing SQL and PL/SQL codes.

- Hands-on experience in data warehousing technologies and tools like Informatica and OFSAA.

- UNIX shell scripting experience is an added advantage.
