Role Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Head to lead and coordinate all manufacturing-related activities for our trading business in the metal industry. This role involves managing outsourced production, ensuring quality control, optimizing delivery timelines, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure project completion within budget and specification.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee manufacturing planning, production coordination, and quality assurance across outsourced or partner fabrication units.

- Work closely with the trading and procurement teams to align production with client requirements and delivery schedules.

- Drive performance of third-party fabrication vendors and ensure compliance with technical and commercial agreements.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in process efficiency, material utilization, and cost control.

- Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and environmental standards in all production-related activities.

- Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions for any deviations.

- Liaise with the sales, supply chain, and project teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.

- Provide technical expertise in product development, structural fabrication, and metallurgical process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical/Production Engineering (MBA preferred).

- 9+ years of experience in manufacturing or production leadership, preferably within the metal or heavy fabrication sector.

- Proven experience managing outsourced or contract manufacturing partners.

- Strong understanding of ferrous and non-ferrous products such as sheets, coils, pipes, and fabricated components.

- Excellent leadership, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination skills.

- Familiarity with ERP systems, lean manufacturing tools, and quality control standards.

Preferred Background:

- Experience in a trading or project-based firm where manufacturing is executed through external partners or job shops.

- Exposure to fabrication, structural steel, or industrial infrastructure projects is an advantage.
