About the Role:
This role involves managing the procurement (buying) of manpower and services for a global company. The person in this position will be responsible for selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that procurement processes run smoothly. The goal is to optimize costs, maintain good supplier relationships, and support the company's needs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Procurement Strategies - Find cost-effective ways to purchase manpower/services.
- Supplier Selection & Negotiation - Choose reliable suppliers and negotiate contracts to get the best deals.
- Supplier Relationship Management - Maintain good communication with suppliers and solve any issues.
- Risk Assessment - Check contracts for potential risks before signing them.
- Cost Management - Monitor procurement spending and find ways to save costs.
- Reporting & Documentation - Keep records of procurement activities and report savings to management.
- Use of Tools - Work with SAP Ariba (a procurement tool) for sourcing and contract management.
- Process Improvement - Streamline processes, automate tasks, and ensure audits are successfully completed.
- Stakeholder Collaboration - Work with internal teams to understand their manpower/service needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience - 8-10 years in procurement.
Education - MBA or Bachelor's degree.
Procurement Knowledge - Experience in global procurement processes.
Negotiation & Contracting - Ability to negotiate supplier agreements.
Technical Skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), SAP Ariba, and data analysis.
Communication - Strong verbal and written English skills.
Client-Facing Skills - Comfortable interacting with virtual teams and stakeholders.
