Role Objective:

We are looking for a high-energy sales professional to drive new business acquisition and expand our presence in South India, operating from our Head Office in Bangalore. The role requires a strategic thinker with excellent execution skills to identify and convert high-potential leads into long-term business partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development

- Identify, map, and target potential customers in FMCG, Pharma, Personal Care, and related industries for rigid packaging solutions (PET/HDPE/PP bottles, jars, containers, closures, etc.).

- Generate, qualify, and nurture leads from prospecting to closure through structured engagement and solution-based selling.

- Leverage market intelligence and competitor mapping to identify white spaces and new revenue streams.

Client Engagement & Solution Selling

- Conduct technical and commercial presentations to CXOs, Purchase Heads, Packaging Development teams, and Brand Managers.

- Work with internal teams (design, R&D, operations) to offer customized, cost-effective, and innovative packaging solutions.

- Ensure alignment of packaging specifications with regulatory and functional requirements of target industries.

Sales Execution & Coordination

- Own end-to-end sales cycle - pricing, proposal, negotiation, order confirmation, coordination with supply chain for delivery schedules.

- Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and clients for smooth onboarding and repeat business.

Market Analysis & Reporting

- Track regional market trends, customer behavior, and competitor moves to develop a forward-looking pipeline.

- Provide regular reporting on pipeline progress, conversions, and account status to senior leadership.

Candidate Profile:

Education: MBA/PGDM from a reputed institute (IIMs, XLRI, MDI, SP Jain, etc. preferred).

Experience: 2-5 years in B2B industrial sales, preferably in rigid packaging (PET, HDPE, PP) or allied industries like FMCG raw materials, industrial polymers, etc.

Skills:

Strong business acumen and consultative sales approach.

Ability to work independently and drive sales across a dynamic and competitive market.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interface with senior decision-makers.

Knowledge of packaging industry trends, innovation, and sustainability drivers will be a strong advantage.

Travel: Willingness to travel across South India for business development.
