Designation: Manager L&D
Location: Mumbai
Key Focus
The role is designed to drive Talent Management and Learning & Development initiatives across the organization. This is a specialist individual contributor role with independent accountability for designing, executing, and managing end-to-end initiatives in the areas of leadership development, talent assessments, succession planning, and digital learning.
The position will report to the Head L&D and Talent Management and will be based in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Management
- Deploy and manage the goal setting, annual performance management system, and mid-year evaluations.
- Facilitate training for functional managers and new hires on performance goal setting, feedback, and PMS processes.
- Partner with CoE teams to identify high-potential employees and create personalized development journeys.
- Manage succession planning frameworks to ensure leadership pipeline readiness.
- Design, implement, and monitor the Reward & Recognition program.
- Drive Employee Engagement actions in collaboration with HRBPs.
Learning & Development
- Independently design and deliver Leadership Development Programs for high-potential and emerging leaders.
- Leverage assessments, IDPs, coaching, and mentoring frameworks to strengthen individual and organizational capability.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of learning interventions (functional, technical, behavioral, and digital).
- Build and manage partnerships with training providers, consultants, and institutions to access specialized expertise.
- Drive Learning Engagement & Innovation to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Own the Campus Engagement strategy to strengthen employer branding and talent pipelines.
- Lead the design and execution of digital learning solutions (LMS, virtual classrooms, simulations, e-learning modules).
- Manage annual L&D budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business needs.
- Ensure audit readiness (ISO, internal audits) and compliance with all L&D processes and documentation.
- Track and report learning metrics, driving accountability for participation and impact.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in L&D to continuously innovate.
- Partner closely with HRBP and CoE teams to support organization-wide Talent and L&D initiatives.
Core Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Leadership Development, Assessments, Succession Planning, and Talent Management frameworks.
- Expertise in Digital Learning platforms / LMS and leveraging technology for scalable learning solutions.
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, and program management skills.
- Ability to innovate, engage, and build impactful learning experiences.
- Excellent communication and internal branding skills to promote learning initiatives.
