Hiring for a Manager Supply chain Manager for a leading firm in Luggage sector.


Role & Responsibilities:


Distribution Planning & Execution:


- Lead and drive the distribution plan from Mother Warehouse to 20 Branch Warehouses across multiple product categories.


- Align planning with business numbers, customer channels, and frequency of distribution.


Product Availability & Planning Frameworks:


- Own availability of 1,5002,000 SKUs by designing robust distribution frameworks, prioritization models, and scenario-based planning to manage constraints.


- Ensure product availability for billing across all channels.


Inventory Management & Policy:


- Define and monitor inventory holding policies and norms, based on network lead times, SKU classification, and channel priorities.


- Drive replenishment planning using rolling inventory norms.


Optimization of Dispatch & Stock Flow:


- Optimize dispatch plans considering FTL loads, promotional priorities, seasonality, and inter-branch transfer reduction.


- Ensure effective stock distribution across the network with focus on cost optimization and availability.


Replenishment & Fill Rates:


- Establish replenishment mechanisms across all inventory nodes.


- Ensure stock availability and fill rate ownership for all customer channels distributors, EBOs/MBOs, Modern Trade chains, and e-commerce platforms.


Slow-Moving & Obsolete Inventory Management:


- Identify and monitor slow-moving / obsolete stocks.


- Design and execute mitigation and liquidation plans to minimize risk.


Stakeholder Management & Warehouse & Logistics Coordination:


- Act as a single point of contact for sales teams on product availability and predictability.


- Manage demand-supply balancing for institutional channels and MTO orders.


- Work closely with warehouse teams to measure and redefine SLAs, ensuring dispatch compliance and reprioritization as needed.


- Collaborate with logistics teams for efficient vehicle planning and load optimization.


- Manage and guide the operational distribution planning team on overall improvements


Reporting & Continuous Improvement:


- Own key functional deliverables: S&OP files, stock availability reports, fill rate analysis, dispatch compliance, and rolling inventory projections.


- Contribute to network optimization frameworks and overall efficiency improvements.
