Manager - Statutory Audit
Location: Navi Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end statutory audit engagements including planning, execution, final reporting and timely documentation
- Act as the primary client liaison: manage service delivery, build long-term relationships, handle billing and collections
- Oversee and mentor a team of Assistant Managers, Seniors, and Associates; conduct performance reviews and foster high performing teams
- Ensure audit quality, risk compliance and adherence to internal methodologies
- Provide strategic input on complex accounting, fraud, and internal control matters in alignment with auditing and accounting standards (SA, IND AS , IFRS, GAAP, etc.)
- Leverage data-driven tools and technology to drive audit innovation and efficiency
- Identify business development opportunities
- Lead internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to firm-wide quality enhancement projects
Qualification & Skills Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 8-12 years of post-qualification experience in statutory audits
- Strong technical command of auditing standards, accounting standards (IND AS and IFRS etc), Companies Act 2013 and other relevant regulation
- Proven leadership, people development, and team management skills
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and client handling abilities
- Demonstrated capability in business development and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in Communication
