Manager - Sourcing

Key Responsibilities

- Strategic Planning & Reporting: Plan, report on, and strategize for the sourcing function to consistently achieve on-time and in-full delivery targets.

- Order Transparency: Coordinate with various factories and regional merchandisers to gather updates on ongoing orders, providing clear and timely transparency to all key stakeholders.

- Capacity Management: Work alongside the Sourcing Head and Planning team to anticipate future capacity requirements and actively guide the development of new factory partnerships.

- Initiative Rollout: Lead and roll out new strategic initiatives, such as factory performance scorecards and fast fashion production partnerships, to achieve company goals related to low cycle time production.

- Relationship Building: Develop deep and trust-based relationships with key factories, fostering strong long-term partnerships.

Requirements for the Role

- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, enabling fluent and effective conversations with both external vendors and internal stakeholders.

- Excel Proficiency: Strong Excel skills, with the ability to generate insightful reports and analyze data efficiently.

- Strong Ownership: A high degree of ownership and autonomy, as this role requires self-driven initiative and accountability to succeed.

- Analytical & Interpersonal Skills: Good analytical abilities to interpret data and strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

- Relevant Experience: Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a Sourcing Merchandising function or as Buying Assistants within Fashion Retail companies, whether online or offline.
