Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Senior Manager - Category with a strong background in FMCG and consumer-facing sectors. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in brand management and new product development, along with deep market insight to help shape, refine, and drive our brand and product strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end brand management initiatives, ensuring consistent brand messaging and positioning.

- Drive new product development from concept to launch, bringing innovative ideas to market.

- Provide actionable insights on current products - identify what's working, what's not, and suggest data-driven improvements.

- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to inform brand and product strategies.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless product execution.

- Own and manage the category P&L levers to drive profitability and growth.

- Translate high-level strategies into detailed action plans and execute them effectively.

- Communicate clearly and persuasively across levels - written, verbal, and presentation.

- Demonstrate strong influencing and negotiation skills to align stakeholders.

- Use analytical skills to interpret data, track KPIs, and recommend enhancements.

- Thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment with agility and adaptability.

Requirements:

- Master's degree is preferred from Tier 1/2 B-school

- 3+ years of experience in consumer-facing sectors such as Retail, FMCG, E-commerce

- Strong business acumen backed by understanding of the different levers in a category P&L

- Demonstrated ability to translate & execute strategies

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities

- Strong numerical and analytical aptitude

- Proven experience in leading & collaborating effectively & efficiently with the cross-functional teams

- Ability to think and react in a high-energy & fast-paced environment
