Job Description : Sales Manager - Freight & Logistics (US Market).

Company : Siox Global Pvt Ltd.

Location : Mumbai.

Shift - 5pm to 3am.

Work Days - Monday to Friday.

Job Overview :

- We are seeking a results-driven "Sales Manager" with a strong background in "Freight brokerage and logistics" to expand our client base in the "US market".

- The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new customers, building long-term relationships, and driving revenue growth by securing "shipment contracts" from shippers, manufacturers, and businesses in need of logistics solutions.

- Additionally, this role will require "building and leading a high-performing sales team" to scale business operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire and retain clients in the - US freight & logistics market

- Identify potential customers (shippers, manufacturers, distributors, etc. ) and convert them into long-term clients.

- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.

- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and continuously seek opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.

- Stay updated on market trends, competitor strategies, and industry regulations.

- Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

- Build, mentor, and lead a team of sales professionals to drive business growth.

- Develop training programs and sales processes to enhance team performance and productivity.

Requirements:

- Total Experience - 7 Years, Proven experience (3-5+ years) in "freight brokerage, logistics sales, or supply chain management" targeting the "US market".

- Strong network and relationships with shippers, manufacturers, and distributors.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to close deals and manage client expectations.

- Understanding of freight pricing, carrier management, and shipment coordination.

- Ability to work in "US time zones" and generate sales independently.

- Experience in "hiring, training, and managing sales teams"

- Proficiency in "CRM tools, sales analytics, and reporting"

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in "LTL, FTL, intermodal, or international freight" sales.

- Knowledge of "TMS (Transportation Management Systems)".

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
