Key Responsibilities:
- Drive B2B sales and revenue growth for broadband, leased lines, and dedicated internet services in the assigned territory.
- Identify and engage prospective clients including SMEs, corporate clients, educational institutions, IT parks, and government offices.
- Conduct meetings, understand client connectivity needs, and present tailored internet solutions effectively.
- Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and service agreements that align with client expectations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and requirement gathering to closing deals and coordinating installation/delivery.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and service teams to ensure successful implementation and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales metrics using CRM tools.
- Track regional sales performance, prepare regular reports, and update senior leadership on growth strategies and outcomes.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitors, pricing, and innovations in broadband technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of B2B sales experience in the ISP, telecom, or enterprise connectivity domain.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of leased line, broadband, and internet infrastructure, including bandwidth requirements, SLAs, uptime, and technical specifications.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability in consultative selling, contract negotiation, and high-value client acquisition.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Territory Knowledge: Familiarity with the Odisha and West Bengal markets and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
- Tools: Hands-on experience with CRM systems, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and sales reporting tools.
- Location Preference: Candidates residing in Odisha will be preferred for faster on-ground operations and better market understanding.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in selling dedicated internet access (DIA), MPLS, or enterprise VPN solutions.
- Existing network of B2B contacts or past clients in the region.
- Understanding of government procurement processes or institutional sales (schools, colleges, PSUs).
