Manager - Sales - BFSI

Job Description:

We are urgently looking for an experienced Sales Manager (Field Sales) to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in field sales, preferably within the Banking or Insurance industry, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, acquiring new customers, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the sales team, ensuring they meet sales targets and performance metrics.

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention.

- Identify and target potential clients within the banking or insurance sector.

- Conduct field visits to build relationships with clients and prospects, understanding their needs and providing solutions.

- Generate new business leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.

- Track sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by offering exceptional service and support.

- Stay updated with industry trends and competitors to develop a competitive advantage.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and servicing of new clients.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in field sales, preferably in the Banking or Insurance industry.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.

- A customer-centric approach with a focus on relationship-building.

- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

- Basic knowledge of banking or insurance products is a plus.

- Must have a graduation degree in any field.

- Willingness to travel within the designated region.
