R&D Commercial Manager

Location - Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as an interface between R&D, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless coordination.

- Track and manage the product development cycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet timelines.

- Oversee the technology transfer process from R&D to manufacturing units and third-party facilities.

- Evaluate and support third-party manufacturing locations, ensuring compliance with company standards.

- Prepare technology transfer documents and assist factories in commercial manufacturing.

- Provide basic support in packaging development, understanding various packaging formats (rigid, flexible, etc.), mold-making, and material qualification.

- Ensure compliance with cosmetics regulatory affairs, including import/export registration and regulatory approvals.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Strong background in Personal Care & Home Care R&D with experience in the product development cycle.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams (R&D, Marketing, Sourcing, Manufacturing).

- Basic knowledge of packaging development processes and packaging material qualifications.

- Understanding of quality tools, ingredient evaluation, and formulation types (added advantage).

- Experience in compliance & regulatory processes related to cosmetics, import/export registration (preferred).

- Familiarity with Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project).

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Willingness to travel extensively (minimum twice per month to manufacturing/vendor locations).

Educational Qualification:

B.Tech/M.Tech (Chemical Engineering)/Ph D (Chemical Engineering/Pharmaceutics/Chemistry)

Total Years of Experience:

7-10 Years in the Industry
