Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Manager for a leading garment manufacturing company in the Retail & Apparel sector.

The role focuses on ensuring product excellence across production by managing the three critical pillars of Information, Raw Material, and Manpower.

The Quality Manager will work closely with sampling, R&D, and production teams to prevent defects, conduct style studies, and enforce SOPs.

This position requires strong expertise in garment construction, particularly womens high-fashion styles in chiffon and satin, along with excellent leadership, problem-solving, and preventive quality management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the quality function across all stages of garment production.

- Collaborate with sampling, R&D, and production to ensure design feasibility and minimize defects.

- Conduct fabric and accessory quality inspections and approve materials for production.

- Perform style studies to identify potential risks in construction and finishing.

- Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production quality.

- Provide manpower training on quality standards and inspection techniques.

- Oversee QC checkpoints at cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing stages.

- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve quality issues.

- Ensure compliance with international quality benchmarks for high-fashion garments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 710 years of quality management experience in garment/textile manufacturing.

- Strong knowledge of womens high-fashion styles in chiffon, satin, and woven fabrics.

- Expertise in garment construction, pattern accuracy, and finishing quality.

- Hands-on experience in fabric inspection, defect analysis, and preventive quality methods.

- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

- Ability to train, guide, and monitor QC teams effectively
