Manager Quality Assurance, HAIPL-Kurkumbh, India is a key leadership role reporting into the Plant quality Manager, Kurkumbh, India. As a Manager Quality Assurance, your goal will be to align your efforts to the global mission of the Quality Organization (AOI) which is to drive Henkel Anand India to perfect planning and execution.
Responsibilities
- To ensure the manufacturing plant have an effective and working Quality Management System in place, and continuously improve and upgrade the same as per customer requirements (Automotive standards) and current ISO /IATF standards.
- Resolving customer complaints and fulfilling customer specific requirements.
- Lead cross-functional teams providing quality guidance and support in the determination of appropriate non-conformance root cause analysis and implementation of effective corrective actions.
- Supporting cluster in product localization projects by conducting process and product risk assessments
- Day to day discussion with cross functional team for implementation of standards to improve quality performance.
- Monitoring & improvement of quality KPIs
- Responsible for conducting periodic quality audits.
- Ensure Quality behaviors are displayed and lived up to by the larger teams by training and upgrading on quality practices.
- To ensure regionally/globally cascaded Q-projects are implemented effectively as per the need of the site.
- Lead in continuous improvement activities at plant level to support in building quality culture.
- Lead & develop the career plan for the HAIPL Quality team.
- Key Interfaces will be with Global/Regional/Site leadership/Country Leadership Teams, Marketing, Business Controlling, Product Development, Manufacturing & Supply Chain.
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or Master's degree in Chemistry with minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance preferably in Adhesive, Sealants, Specialty Chemicals, Automotive industry, auto component industry.
- Domain Expertise: Must have an understanding of the chemical analysis, process, sophisticated analytical instruments, auditing, IMS/IATF standard, SAP.

- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
