
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead the software testing and quality processes across projects and products.
The QA Manager will be responsible for defining test strategies, managing QA teams, ensuring product reliability, and driving continuous improvement in quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the overall QA strategy, standards, and processes.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
- Ensure testing is integrated into the SDLC/Agile development lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, testers, and automation specialists.
- Assign tasks, review performance, and build a culture of quality ownership.
- Manage hiring, training, and career development of QA staff.
- Oversee manual, automated, functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure defect-free
releases.
- Track defects, prioritize bugs, and ensure timely resolution.
- Establish KPIs for software quality (defect density, test coverage, release quality).
- Ensure compliance with ISO, CMMI, GDPR, SOC2, or other regulatory standards.
- Drive continuous improvements in test processes and tools.
- Communicate QA progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Provide quality metrics and dashboards to leadership.
- Partner with delivery managers and product owners to align quality goals.
