You will be directly working with the client, who is based in London, UK.
Experience required: 5 years+.
Time: 1 PM to 10 PM IST (Monday-Friday).
Responsibilities:
Supervisory Management:
- Manage and monitor the daily tasks of operations coordinators.
- Provide guidance, training, and assign tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Purchasing:
- Procure quality products and solutions for customer requests.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective purchase of backorders.
- Analyze market trends and understand the target market to make informed buying decisions.
Pricing and Availability:
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide timely pricing and availability information for customer quotes.
- Ensure information is accurate and provided within specified SLAs.
- Keep the sales team updated on the status of orders.
Supplier/Vendor Management:
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers.
- Build relationships and negotiate for the best price, quantities, and delivery timescales.
- Continuously review and ensure the company is purchasing quality products at the best available prices and lead times to maintain a competitive advantage.
Logistics, Warehouse, and Transport:
- Supervise logistics, warehouse, and transport services by 3rd party providers.
- Coordinate with the operations team and management to meet inventory, purchasing, warehousing, and logistics requirements.
- Liaise with 3rd party providers to ensure order fulfillment and resolve issues.
- Plan and oversee incoming/outgoing deliveries and maintain shipping logs.
- Have excellent import/export knowledge, understand shipping terms, and manage customs documentation.
Inventory & Stock Management:
- Manage inventory stock levels and fill rates according to budget and profile.
- Ensure accurate levels of core stock are maintained.
- Conduct monthly stock profiling and demand forecasting with the sales team.
- Perform monthly stock value calculation, inventory turns/rotation, cycle counting, and process audits.
RMAs (Return to Suppliers):
- Manage RMAs with suppliers and ensure the return of products for credits.
- Monitor stock quality, report RMAs, and identify problematic suppliers for resolution.
Reporting:
- Prepare monthly reports and updates for management on purchasing, stock management, 3rd party warehousing accuracy, and RMAs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, a related discipline, or equivalent.
- Certification in Procurement (CIPS) or a Procurement qualification.
(Mandatory):
- Advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Knowledge of Zoho CRM and ERPs is desirable.
- Demonstrated excellent time management, organisational skills, and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills in English.
- Excellent communication skills
