Roles And Responsibility:
- The Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the end-to end production process.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, inventory control, and process optimization.
- They will lead a team of professionals to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other departments to forecast demand and plan production schedules accordingly.
- Implement efficient inventory control measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Optimize inventory turnover and carrying costs to align with company objectives.
- Continuously assess and improve production processes for efficiency and quality.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and other best practices to enhance productivity.
- Lead and motivate a team of production and planning professionals to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that products meet or exceed quality standards.
- Implement measures to reduce defects and improve overall product quality.
- Optimize the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet production targets.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of production processes.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on production performance and areas for improvement.
Skills Required:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-9 years of experience in production planning and control.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and production planning software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
