Manager - Production Finance

Org: Leading USA based MNC in field of Agritech. It's main focus is to drive sustainable food production through rice seed technologies and makes a positive impact on farmers, employees and stakeholders.

Education Req: ICWA/CA/MBA Finance

Job Summary

The core work is overseeing the financial aspects of a production process, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and costs are controlled. Core work includes budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Also works closely with growers, production teams, and other stakeholders to manage the financial health of quality production from start to finish. Also plays a key role in strategic financial planning, risk management, and supporting production planning and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

A. Production Finance

- Lead the development of annual Manufacturing budgets, financial forecasts, long range planning (5 years) and other operational modeling tools.

- Inventory Management

- Cost of Production/COGM/COGS Management

- Standardization of processes and systems across all production and manufacturing locations

- Coordinate annual costing standard setting

B. Statutory Compliance

- Responsible for compliance of all statutory requirements

- Lead & Support annual audits (Internal, Statutory, Tax)

C. MIS & Global reports

- Experience in S4HANA and CO is MANDATORY.

- Support Global financial reporting process

- Provide ongoing financial modelling and analysis expertise to Leadership

- MIS for Local Management

D. General Finance

- Coordinate month end closing activities

- Ad hoc analysis, Lead complex projects through to an end point

- Work with and through business partners, manage relationships and associations and alliances

- Grasp organization's short- and long-term priorities and develop systems, processes and policies to support the achievement of them in a cost-effective manner

We are looking for

- Finance and business acumen

- Experience working in ERP systems required (SAP, S4HANA, CO etc)

- In depth knowledge in the Microsoft office suite to include Excel and power Point

- Product costing experience required

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
