Production Manager Main Responsibilities: - Drive the Technical and Operations support to an FPSO in process systems. - Ensure that FPSO is maintained and managed with respect to regulatory requirements. - Coordinate between functions such as Supply Chain, HSEQ, Engineering etc. to provide efficient support to the unit. - Actively contribute with technical and advisory support to Operations Manager / Dy. Operations Manager / Maintenance Manager / Marine Manager and offshore in terms of Process Systems. - Performing process simulations/ Heat & Mass Balance/ Flow assurance calculations etc. and troubleshooting issues. - Review and provide the engineering solutions for Management of Change request from offshore as per procedure. - Review the Shutdown / Breakdown Reports and verify / carry out Root Cause Analysis. - Establish and drive routine reporting cadence, data analytics, and produce dashboard reporting and other reporting artifacts to dedicatedly identify emerging risks, issues, or challenges. - Actively contribute to incident investigation and provide technical support to Emergency Response team as and when required. - Ensure that O&M KPI related to Production are in compliance as per Contractual requirements. - Carry out review of Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) & update regularly and develop operating procedures as required. - Update Lesson Learned based on Management of Change Request, Shutdown / Breakdown Reports review, Survey / Audit Reports etc. - Provide in-house training for the offshore Operations team as and when required - Carry out competency evaluation for onboard Production Superintendent / Leads as requested. - Visit the Unit on a regular basis as required. It is expected that the Production Manager visits the unit once in a month for monitoring the performance and planning of operational activities. - Act as a mentor and resource for new employees and less experienced colleagues. - Continuously make suggestions for improvements in all spheres of influence.
