Educational Qualifications:
B.Tech / Graduate Degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering (or relevant discipline)
Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Certification or Membership in related field preferred
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Electrical Maintenance, with at least 5 years in PET manufacturing
- Strong exposure to Solid-State Polymerization (SSP) and Continuous Polymerization (CP) processes
- Proven experience managing electrical systems within Plastics Packaging / FMCG environments
- Proficiency in handling high-voltage systems, PLC/SCADA automation, and energy management initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage projects, and ensure regulatory and safety compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the electrical maintenance function across PET/SSP plants
- Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers, technicians, and shift supervisors
- Oversee the planning and execution of preventive & predictive maintenance to maximize plant uptime
- Ensure efficient operation and troubleshooting of SSP and CP systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in energy efficiency, automation, and electrical reliability
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and capital projects related to electrical infrastructure
- Enforce compliance with electrical safety codes, internal standards, and regulatory norms
- Collaborate with plant leadership to align electrical maintenance with business and production goals
