Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with minimum wage regulations and all statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.).
- Partner with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll execution.
- Manage and optimize payroll processing in SAP.
- Lead payroll audits, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures.
- Handle employee payroll queries and ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Always maintain confidentiality and data integrity.
Required Key Skills and Experience:
- 812 years of proven experience in payroll management.
- Strong working knowledge of payroll systems, especially SAP.
- In-depth understanding of Indian statutory and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent logical reasoning, and the ability to delve into the specifics.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel, and data management tools.
- Experience in payroll automation and process optimization.
- Certification in payroll management or SAP (5 years mandatory).
