Position - Manager Operations (Female)
Qualification - CA Mandatory
Location - Mumbai
Experience Working with Big 4 Companies Mandatory
Main Objectives of this position:
- Vendor & Cost Evaluation, Standard Cost Maintenance (TRACO), Maintenance of contracts in SAP & FIS, Operations Reporting and People Management
Function and duties:
- Preparing, analyses and submit quarterly forecast and budget data for Operations
- Analyse controllable operational costs across multiple port locations Maintain Subcontractor tariff and agreement.
- Document vendor Rebate Agreement and Tracking rebates/costs based on the various vendor agreements
- Create and Maintain Vendor
- Maintaining Bank Holidays
- Define and update locations
- Redefine location structure
- Maintain Geo Coordinates
- Define and update Base Route
- Handle missing Inland Routing maintenance requests.
- Define and Update Transportation Standard Costs (TRACO).
- Steer vendor volumes according to commitment.
- Steer Controllable Costs.
- Steer Cost saving measures
- Identify routing performance
- Monitory Standard cost against actual costs
- Maintain THC and ININ tariff working and revisions for maximum cost recovery.
- Operations Reporting - Vendor Spent and cost analysis Reports
- Vendor Evaluation and prepare approved supplier list
- Internal Controlling Check List Reports review
- ADHOC Ops cost if any and handle ADHOC CFS, Inland and Terminal Rate requirements
- Drive controllable costs by promoting data-driven decision-making within operations.
- Consolidate and monitor cost-saving measures
- Provide timely statistics from all relevant systems to support special analyses for management and operational staff.
- Monitor rebates and credit notes based on agreements
- Conduct vendor evaluations and prepare an approved supplier list
- Oversee vendor contracts within SAP to ensure compliance and performance.
Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements:
- 10+ years industry and management experience in transportation industry
- Overall expert knowledge of the Shipping industry as a whole.
- Good Knowledge of Operations required.
- Sharp focus on cost management.
- Vendor management experience preferred.
- Commercial experience (an advantage)
- Exposure to working within a different geographical Area
- Effective time / people management and planning skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Business Systems
- Awareness of data quality importance, Operation steering etc.
- Good knowledge of user application systems (FIS, MS Office, Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of user application systems (FIS, COMPASS)
- Process knowledge and system support optimization.
- Expert Knowledge of internal processes, systems and controls
- Knowledge Process Mapping and Six Sigma / Lean Methods (an advantage)
