Job Summary:.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager - Market Access to lead market access activities, ensuring optimal pricing, reimbursement, and patient access for pharmaceutical products.
The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Health Economics teams to develop and execute market access strategies aligned with business objectives.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement market access strategies to ensure optimal pricing, reimbursement, and patient access for pharmaceutical products.
- Conduct market research and health economics analysis to identify market access barriers, pricing trends, and payer requirements.
- Collaborate closely with Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR), Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Regulatory teams to generate evidence supporting product value.
- Engage with payers, government bodies, and healthcare authorities to negotiate reimbursement strategies, pricing, and access conditions.
- Prepare and submit reimbursement dossiers, value dossiers, pricing applications, and HTA submissions.
- Monitor policy developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to proactively adapt access strategies.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support product launch planning and lifecycle management.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including payers, KOLs, industry bodies, and internal teams.
- Lead and mentor a small team of market access professionals, ensuring high performance and knowledge development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Postgraduate degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Market Access, HEOR, Pricing & Reimbursement, or related function within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, pricing & reimbursement pathways, HTA processes, and payer dynamics.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing market access strategies, preparing reimbursement dossiers, and engaging with payers.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
