Role Overview:

- The Manager - Legal will be responsible for overseeing all legal affairs at the regional level, with a strong focus on construction and infrastructure contracting.

- The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of construction laws, contracts (EPC, turnkey, subcontracting), dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various project-related contracts including EPC, turnkey, subcontracting, vendor agreements, NDAs, and MoUs.

- Advising internal teams on legal risks and mitigation strategies in relation to project execution.

- Managing and responding to legal notices, disputes, claims, and arbitration matters.

- Coordinating with external legal counsel for litigation and dispute resolution.

- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, especially labor laws, contract laws, environmental and safety regulations.

- Maintaining and updating contract repository and tracking key contractual obligations.

- Conducting legal due diligence and supporting the tendering and bidding process.

- Engaging with government authorities and statutory bodies when required.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's (LLB) or Master's degree (LLM) in Law from a recognized institution.

- 12-15 years of legal experience, preferably with at least 4-5 years in the construction or infrastructure sector.

- Strong understanding of construction contracts (FIDIC/CPWD/State PWD formats), arbitration, and dispute management.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders across projects.

- Willingness and ability to join within 30 days.
