Job Title: Lead Business Development Manager (Lead BDM)

Role Overview:

- We are seeking a results-driven and experienced BDM/Lead BDM to drive business growth, manage the sales pipeline, and lead customer acquisition within the SME and MSME segments.


- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS sales and consultative selling, with a proven track record of closing high-value deals and exceeding revenue targets.


- This role involves engaging directly with CXOs, Founders, and Business Heads to deliver tailored solutions and drive long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Mapping & Business Development:

- Identify and target high-potential SME and MSME clients in the health tech and insurance sectors.

- Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and drive customer acquisition.

- Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers (CXOs, Founders, Business Heads) to position the company as a trusted partner.

- Lead end-to-end sales cycles-from prospecting and qualification to deal closure.

Product Expertise & Tailored Solutions:

- Develop a strong understanding of the product/platform and its relevance to SME/MSME clients.

- Customize insurance policies and health solutions based on the specific business requirements of each client.

- Present product value propositions effectively, demonstrating how tailored solutions address client pain points.

Sales Pipeline & Revenue Generation.

- Build and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline focused on SME/MSME client acquisition.

- Lead high-stakes negotiations with decision-makers and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.

- Consistently exceed KPIs, revenue targets, and customer conversion goals.

Customer Management & Retention:

- Act as the primary point of contact for key SME/MSME clients, ensuring smooth onboarding and service delivery.

- Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Operations, Support) to implement customized solutions and resolve issues.

- Develop strong, trust-based relationships with key clients to drive retention and account expansion.

Strategic Feedback & Product Enhancement:

- Provide customer insights and market feedback to the Product team to improve product-market fit for SME/MSME clients.

- Influence product strategy to align with evolving client needs and market trends.

Team Leadership (Lead BDM):

- Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team focused on SME/MSME client acquisition and success.

- Establish best practices for sales execution, pipeline management, and customer engagement.

- Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and customer-centricity.
