Role Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager - KAM Sales Operations to lead institutional business operations, key account management, procurement, and commercial functions for the Maida category. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sales, trade marketing, vendor management, contracts, and operational excellence, with a proven track record in managing PAN India GT markets and export operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales & Business Development:
- Manage end-to-end institutional sales operations for the Maida category.
- Lead trade marketing initiatives across PAN India GT (General Trade) markets.
- Drive export strategies and oversee complete execution for global markets.
- Identify growth opportunities and contribute to business expansion plans.
Key Account & Vendor Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and customers.
- Develop and manage vendors supporting Maida operations.
- Provide regular market updates on trends, raw material pricing, and global challenges to stakeholders.
Contracts & Procurement :
- Manage Annual/Quarterly/Monthly contracts and RFQ processes with key customers.
- Oversee contract execution and fulfillment through CMUs.
- Handle raw material procurement (forward/spot buying) in line with customer requirements.
- Manage annual contracts with CMUs, ensuring compliance and timely execution.
Operational & Commercial Management:
- Ensure timely payment recovery from customers.
- Oversee vendor payments and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Supervise stock management, packaging material procurement, and by-product realization.
- Generate and circulate daily P&L reports, and present performance insights during weekly reviews.
New Product Development (NPD):
- Collaborate with Quality & R&D teams to coordinate new product development.
- Drive NPD operations and execution from concept to market readiness.
Qualifications & Experience :
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 6+ years in Sales Operations / KAM / Procurement / FMCG / Food Industry (Maida/Agri/Food products preferred).
- Strong expertise in contract management, institutional sales, and vendor relations.
- Proven ability to handle PAN India General Trade operations and export markets.
- Strong knowledge of procurement, raw material buying, and supply chain functions.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proficient in P&L tracking and reporting.
