The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of the Human Resource function for the retail wholesaler business, ensuring effective workforce management, compliance with labor laws, and building a strong culture that supports business growth.
The role involves recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and HR operations tailored to a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition & Staffing: Lead recruitment for store staff, sales teams, warehouse, and back-office functions.
- Ensure timely hiring and onboarding.
- Employee Relations: Address grievances, ensure healthy work culture, and maintain high employee engagement levels.
- Performance Management: Implement appraisal systems, set KPIs aligned with retail sales targets, and support career development.
- Training & Development: Identify skill gaps, coordinate training programs for sales, warehouse, and support staff.
- HR Operations: Manage payroll inputs, attendance, shift scheduling, leave management, and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.
- Policies & Compliance: Draft and implement HR policies, ensure compliance with labor laws, audits, and health & safety regulations.
- Employee Retention: Drive employee motivation programs, reduce attrition, and promote long-term retention in retail operations.
- HR Data & Reporting: Maintain HR MIS, generate reports on headcount, attrition, and manpower planning.
Requirements:
- Masters / Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 6-10 years of HR experience, preferably in retail, wholesale, or FMCG sector.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS/payroll software.
- Ability to manage diverse workforce including sales, warehouse, and support staff
