Role and Responsibilities:
As the Human Resource Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and hands-on management of all HR functions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Partner with the firms leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that supports business goals. This includes advising on organizational design, talent planning, and change management.
- Talent Management & Acquisition: Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, retention, and succession planning. Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract, hire, and retain top legal and administrative talent.
- Performance & Development: Design and manage a robust performance management system that fosters a high-performance culture. Identify training and development needs and create programs that enhance skills, leadership capabilities, and career progression for all employees.
- Compensation & Benefits: Manage the firms compensation structure and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive, fair, and aligned with market trends.
- HR Operations & Policy: Lead all HR operations, including policy development, process optimization, and HR information systems (HRIS) management. Ensure all policies and procedures comply with local labor laws and regulations.
- Employee Engagement & Relations: Champion a positive and inclusive work environment. Proactively address and resolve employee relations issues, fostering open communication and mutual respect. Develop initiatives to boost morale and engagement across multiple office locations.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Stay current with all relevant employment laws and regulations. Manage compliance-related tasks and mitigate HR-related risks for the firm.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Background: An MBA in Human Resources or a related field is mandatory.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 - 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Experience within the professional services sector (law, consulting, finance) is highly desirable.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to connect HR initiatives to business outcomes and influence organizational strategy at a senior level.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring an HR team, with a collaborative and empathetic leadership style.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of HRIS and other HR-related technologies. Proficient in MS Office Suite.
