Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional to join our growing corporate team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, and policy implementationpreferably within manufacturing-focused industries such as biotechnology or pharma.
Key Responsibilities
1. Policy & Process Implementation
- Assist in designing and implementing HR policies, employee handbook, and organizational structure aligned to companys culture and values.
- Support in creating career paths and role clarity for team members.
- Implement a transparent and fair performance management process.
- Assist in creating an HR budget and mentoring framework.
2. Talent Acquisition
- Source, screen, and engage with candidates across biotechnology, agri-tech, and manufacturing functions.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics across multiple roles.
- Conduct HR rounds of interviews and assist in managing the offer process.
3. Onboarding
- Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure smooth onboarding for every new joiner.
- Manage initial paperwork, background verification, and allocation of assets/resources (laptop, email ID, workspace, etc.).
- Ensure timely execution of the induction program and gather feedback from new hires.
4. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Assist in organizing periodic team-building activities and employee engagement initiatives.
- Conduct basic 1:1 sessions or feedback loops as required.
- Maintain strong employee relations and serve as a point of contact for HR-related queries.
5. Learning & Development
- Support in preparing L&D calendars and coordinating training sessions.
- Liaise with functional managers to identify training needs.
6. Offboarding
- Facilitate exit interviews and formal offboarding procedures.
- Ensure smooth communication and compliance during employee exits.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of HR operations in manufacturing or technical industries.
- Knowledge of labour laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR management software (experience with Razorpay or similar systems is a plus).
