Job Title: HR Operations Manager
Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Operations professional responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations with a strong focus on payroll processing, statutory compliance, and employee lifecycle support. The role ensures accuracy in payroll, timely filing of statutory returns, and smooth handling of HR processes in line with legal and organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll & Compensation
- Manage monthly payroll processing, including salary calculations, reimbursements, incentives, and deductions.
- Ensure accuracy in payroll data (attendance, leave records, variable pay, overtime, etc.).
- Handle full & final settlements for exiting employees.
Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and file PF, ESI, TDS, Professional Tax, and Income Tax returns within statutory timelines.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations related to payroll and employee benefits.
- Liaise with auditors and government authorities for compliance queries.
Employee Lifecycle Management
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS, and documentation.
- Manage onboarding and exit formalities from a payroll and compliance perspective.
- Support employees in tax declarations, Form 16, and related queries.
HR Operations
- Generate payroll and compliance MIS reports for management review.
- Coordinate with finance for payroll reconciliations and statutory payments.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in HR, Commerce, or related field (MBA/PGDM preferred).
- 3 to 6 years of experience in HR Operations / Payroll / Statutory Compliance.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax rules.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS/Payroll software.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
