Manager Financial Inclusion Sales Specialist

Location - Mumbai

The role will be responsible for building long-term relationships with key clients and will play a key role in introducing products to the market. S/he will work closely with sales team to implement the three-year growth plan and own the revenue generation of the assigned line of products.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Work closely with the head of the Financial Inclusion for implementing strategies and ensuring adherence to the growth plan for the assigned line of products

- Responsible for overall rural business with focus on lenders' customer engagement and acquisition

- Understand rural, including Microfinance, market landscape and needs, and determine required solution capabilities

- Develop engagement plan and pursue business development engagements with executives of selected clients with focus on their consumer engagement, acquisition, portfolio management strategy and goals

- Define account level strategies with adequate buffers to be able to achieve overall revenue targets for the designated segment

- Understand and translate statistics to address client business problems and liaison with client's technical, analytical and business teams to delivery teams to build and deliver custom solutions

- Create a strong pipeline of potential customers and key markets that can be tapped to increase the outreach of the company

- Act as a Key Account Manager in the assigned sector on opportunities with key clients and deals

- Have detailed knowledge of the product to be able to defend it in the market

- Maintain the sales velocity and momentum by maintaining quality client proposals, originate tactical and strategical business leads, build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients

- Maintain close liaison with key stakeholders to help provide inputs to the strategic direction of the business, the functionality and launch of new products and services in assigned portfolio of products

- Research and understand clients' expectations from the product and work with internal stakeholders to incorporate the needs in the offerings, thus ensuring a positive client experience

- Keep the team leader/s updated of the sales progress by creating quarterly reports and forecasts

- Develop and maintain the existing revenue streams and drive new revenue opportunities within the assigned line of products.

Experience and Skills:

- Master's degree in business administration, sales and marketing, finance or related field

- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in banking; asset side experience with a bank or NBFC a plus.

- Experience in rural lending industry required, experience in agri lending will be an added advantage.

- Ability to effectively develop relationships, engage, advice, and persuasively communicate with P&L and risk heads in face-to-face scenarios demonstrating real-time insight, flexibility and sound judgment

- Program management, with the ability to own development of business pipeline and effectively coordinate internal resources and teams to maximize business conversion

- Ability to travel at least 25% of the time and perform other duties as assigned
