Manager - Finance - CA

We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager with a strong background in accounting and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader responsible for managing month-end activities, ensuring financial compliance, and driving process improvements.

This role requires a Chartered Accountant who can handle complex financial analysis and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Lead and perform all month-end activities, including closing sub-ledgers, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting.

- Conduct comprehensive month-end variance (Flux) analysis for all P&L and Balance Sheet accounts, providing detailed insights to stakeholders.

Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure that appropriate financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are in place and well-documented.

- Take responsibility for GRC compliance and internal controls, seeking stakeholder alignment for any improvements or changes.

Audit & Reconciliation: Review and prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations, including those with VAT/GST Tax returns and sub-ledger reports, and take necessary action on identified issues.

- Work closely with auditors to address queries and ensure the smooth completion of audits.

Strategic Initiatives: Lead and support new business and system launches, including the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) of accounting entries and financial reporting.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and partner with technical teams for automation and system solutions.

Problem-Solving: Utilize in-depth accounting knowledge and principles to identify and resolve complex, unique financial issues, consulting with leadership as needed.

Skills:

Accounting & Finance:

- Proficient in accounting principles and systems design.

- Strong experience in month-end closing activities, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting.

- Preferred experience in Indirect Taxation (GST/VAT) Accounting and reconciliation.

- Ability to perform detailed P&L and Balance Sheet account analysis.

System & Technical:

- Experience with Oracle is preferred.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word is mandatory.

Education & Experience:
