Manager - Finance & Compliance
Role Summary:
We are seeking a CSR Finance Compliance Manager to oversee the financial and compliance aspects of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background with expertise in financial due diligence, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
This role is crucial for ensuring the financial integrity and regulatory adherence of our CSR programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Due Diligence:
- Conduct thorough financial due diligence for all onboarding NGOs, which includes a deep analysis of their financial statements and a review of their compliance history.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Handle budgeting and forecasting for all entities, including preparing multi-year financial projections.
- Review project budgets submitted by NGOs, identify anomalies or incorrect expenses, and coordinate with relevant teams for necessary approvals.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare reports and dashboards for senior leadership using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
- Act as a liaison between the CSR team and the Statutory/Tax Controllers to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Skills:
Required Skills:
- Finance: Knowledge of financial due diligence, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Compliance: Strong understanding of legal and regulatory compliance in a financial context.
- Technical: Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a CSR or social work environment is a plus but not mandatory.
- No specific CSR project domain experience is required.
Education & Experience:
Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in a finance-related field, such as CA (Chartered Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or MBA Finance.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience is acceptable if the candidate has a strong finance background and the necessary skills
