Job Title: Manager - EB Operations

Job Summary:
The Manager - EB Operations will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the Employee Benefits (EB) division, ensuring efficient service delivery, process optimization, and compliance with regulatory guidelines. The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end operations of the Employee Benefits division, including health, life, and wellness benefits.
- Ensure timely and accurate policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals.
- Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain high-quality service standards.
- Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
2. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of EB operations professionals.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as underwriting, claims, sales, and finance to ensure smooth operations.
- Liaise with insurance carriers, brokers, and clients to manage escalations and resolve operational issues.
3. Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Conduct periodic audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential operational risks.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and compliance checks.
4. Technology & Automation:
- Work closely with IT teams to implement automation and digital solutions for operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology for process enhancements and data management.
5. Reporting & Data Analytics:
- Generate and analyze operational reports to track performance and identify improvement areas.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in employee benefits operations, insurance, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of EB products, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, data analytics tools, and insurance/benefits management systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in implementing process automation and digital solutions.
- Certification in Insurance, HR, or Risk Management (e.g., LOMA, CPCU, SHRM) is a plus.
