Manager/Deputy Manager - Costing & Pricing

About the Job:

Prayagh Consumer Care (P) Ltd. is a leading manufacturer and exporter of flavored toffees, molded chocolates, clairs, candies, cakes, and more.

With three operational plants in Telangana, we are looking for a Manager/ Deputy Manager - Costing & Pricing to handle cost analysis, pricing control, and margin protection across our product portfolio.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Determine standard costs for all products and SKUs.

- Estimate product costs and margins for existing and new products.

- Manage costing and pricing in ERP systems, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.

- Analyze financial data and investigate variances between standard and actual costs.

- Collaborate with Plant, R&D, and Marketing teams for product cost analysis.

- Prepare detailed financial reports on costing and pricing for management review.

- Evaluate changes in input costs, pricing strategies, and promotional costs.

- Forecast and analyze costs related to processes, labor, and inventory.

- Maintain SKU-level pricing in the ERP system.

- Suggest cost-reduction strategies and improve profitability.

- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for raw materials, packaging, and vendor changes.

- Drive cost efficiency initiatives across the business.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong costing and margin management experience in FMCG industry.

- Hands-on experience in Tally and ERP implementation.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- High attention to detail and strong business acumen.

Education & Experience:

- Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) with 3-5 years of experience.

- CA with 5-8 years of experience
