Manager - Costing

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product costing methodologies, SAP ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration.

- This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a positive attitude and the ability to meet tight deadlines while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Costing & Validation:

- Validate Bill of Materials (BOM) and unit costs for all manufactured and trading products.

- Oversee and implement product costing processes and cost control measures.

- Periodically update costing in SAP and assist in simulation costing for decision-making.

- Track and analyze changes in regular costs due to raw material price fluctuations and new processes.

Inventory Management:

- Manage inventory reporting, ageing analysis, and liquidation actions.

- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.

Cost Optimization & Projects:

- Actively participate in cost optimization projects and validate their outcomes.

- Collaborate with factory and product teams to ensure accuracy in product costs.

Audit & Compliance:

- Support audits related to costing and inventory management.

- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and finance, to ensure alignment on costing and inventory-related matters.

Education & Certification:

- ICWA (Institute of Cost and Works Accountants) qualification is mandatory.

Experience:

- Minimum 7+ years of experience in SAP Controlling or related roles.

- Proven experience in product costing within a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in SAP ERP systems, particularly the Controlling module.

- Strong understanding of product costing methodologies and inventory management.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
