- Drafting and floating tenders, evaluating quotations technically and commercially, negotiating and execute contracts for all Civil/Interior packages.
- Establishing and maintaining vendor relationships by serving as a point of contact for contractual matters.
- Record keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
- Providing contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally.
- Monitoring and completing contract close-out, extension, or renewal, as required.
- Communicating contract-related information to all stakeholders.
- Awarding of contracts within approved cost & timeline with highest standards of quality and safety.
- Monitoring, evaluating and proactively taking corrective steps to work within target costs & timelines.
- Enhancement of efficiency by ensuring the minimization of award of contract cycle time to the desired level.
- Reviewing and following operational policies, procedures, systems to enhance productivity, efficiency, effectiveness to achieve operational excellence.
- Develop new vendors in line with the companys geographical expansion plans.
- Responsible & accountable for regular updating, corrections, and sanctity of database in various systems pertaining to the project/function.
- Value Engineering on Material / construction methodology to optimize the cost.
- Vendor Pre-Qualification and vendor development
- Contract administration involving Expediting, Escalation, change management and contract closure.
- Identification of Contractual Obligations and preparation and undertaking of the tracking systems to monitor ours and other parties (Subcontractor) Contractual Obligations.
- Provide support to the Project manager and the Project team in all contractual and project control issues.
Specifications (Skills & Competencies)
Experience in one or more of the following areas
a. Civil/Interior contracts,
b. Procurement of construction materials.
- Proficient in MS office (MS Excel, MS Word & MS PowerPoint)
- Good Written communication skills
- Good knowledge of Contractual / Legal terms.
- Experience of SAP PS and MM Module
