This is a remote position.
What Youll Do & How Youll Make Your Mark:
- Develop & Execute Content Strategy: Craft and implement a robust content strategy tailored to guide buyers through the inbound journey, aimed at boosting both new and existing customer bookings.
- Lead Content Production: Oversee the content production process, ensuring efficiency and quality, and enhance workflow systems to meet production targets.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a high-performing Content Marketing team, guaranteeing timely production and publication of content.
- Team Growth and Hiring: Drive the expansion of the Content Marketing team by identifying staffing needs and recruiting top talent to fill these roles.
- Professional Development: Conduct weekly one-on-one meetings with each Content Writer to focus on their professional growth and development.
- Set & Achieve Goals: Establish and monitor KPIs for each team member, ensuring alignment with the broader marketing objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster and maintain productive working relationships with product teams, leadership, brand teams, and knowledge base teams to ensure a unified approach to content creation.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Regularly update your knowledge by following major SEO publications and industry news to continuously refine our SEO and content strategies.
Who You Are & What Youll Need to Succeed:
- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated ability to directly manage three or more subordinates effectively, leading projects and workgroups with strong leadership skills.
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Content Marketing Experience: 6-8 years of experience in content marketing, with a proven track record of successful strategies and campaigns.
- Team Management Experience: At least 2 years of experience managing a content marketing team.
- Inbound Marketing Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the inbound methodology and customer value journey.
- Project Management Skills: Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Planner, Jira, and Confluence.
- Content Creation Experience: Experience in creating detailed briefs for designers and writers, ensuring content aligns with strategic goals.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with experience in Google Analytics, WordPress, and other relevant digital marketing tools.
- SEO Expertise: Solid experience with SEO principles and content writing that optimizes visibility and engagement.
- Lifelong Learner: A naturally curious mindset with a commitment to staying informed about industry trends and best practices.
