About the Role
The Manager - Client Services will be responsible for leading a team of recruiters to deliver exceptional recruitment outcomes for a complex client account. This role requires a dynamic leader who can balance operational delivery, client engagement, team performance, and financial accountability. The Manager will act as a strategic partner to senior client stakeholders, providing consultative guidance on talent acquisition strategies while ensuring seamless execution of recruitment campaigns.
The position demands a strong focus on service excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement. You will be accountable for driving team productivity, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance. As a key point of contact, you will influence client hiring strategies through data-driven insights and contribute to overall business growth by optimizing recruitment delivery models.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of recruiters to achieve hiring targets and deliver high-quality recruitment services.
- Foster engagement, retention, and professional growth through coaching, performance reviews, and career development plans.
- Manage team workloads effectively, balancing priorities across multiple requisitions and business areas.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
- Conduct regular client review meetings to present recruitment progress, market insights, and performance dashboards.
- Proactively address challenges, propose solutions, and ensure alignment between client expectations and delivery outcomes.
Recruitment Delivery & Process Excellence
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment delivery, ensuring timely fulfillment of requisitions in line with agreed SLAs, KPIs, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment legislation, account governance frameworks, and data accuracy within ATS/CRM systems.
- Drive improvements in candidate experience, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a consistent and professional process.
- Implement innovative sourcing strategies and continuously refine recruitment methodologies to meet evolving client needs.
Operational & Financial Accountability
- Monitor account performance against financial and contractual obligations, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency gains, cost optimization, and value-added services for the client.
- Contribute to business reporting, including recruitment metrics, financial performance, and forecasting.
Change Management & Insights
- Support organizational and client-driven change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption across teams.
- Leverage recruitment analytics and market intelligence to provide actionable insights that influence client hiring strategy.
- Stay updated on industry trends, legislation, and best practices to ensure recruitment delivery remains compliant and competitive.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience managing recruitment teams and delivering large-scale, end-to-end hiring campaigns.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a track record of partnering with senior clients.
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment legislation (e.g., IR35, discrimination laws) and local market practices.
- Agile and resilient, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, target-driven environments.
- Proficiency in recruitment technology platforms (ATS/CRM) and strong reporting/analytics capabilities.
Desirable:
- Experience managing geographically dispersed or remote teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Commercial acumen with understanding of contracts, SLAs, and financial levers.
