Job Title: Business Development Manager - Recruitment Services.

Location: Gurgaon

Department: Business Development / Sales.

Reports to: Director / Head - Business Development.

Job Purpose:

To drive revenue growth by identifying, acquiring, and managing client relationships for recruitment and staffing solutions.

The role focuses on expanding the client base, understanding hiring needs, and positioning the firm as a trusted manpower partner.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition & Lead Generation

- Identify potential clients through market research, networking, cold calling, and online platforms.

- Generate and qualify leads for recruitment and staffing opportunities across sectors.

- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

Client Relationship Management

- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

- Understand clients' hiring needs and business goals to propose tailored recruitment solutions.

- Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, escalations, and ongoing requirements.

Sales & Revenue Growth

- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets for recruitment services.

- Prepare and present business proposals, pricing structures, and contracts.

- Negotiate terms of business to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.

Market & Industry Insight

- Stay updated with recruitment industry trends, competitor activities, and sector-specific hiring patterns.

- Identify opportunities for new service offerings or niche market penetration.

Collaboration with Delivery Team

- Work closely with recruiters and sourcing teams to ensure timely and quality delivery to clients.

- Provide clear job briefs and client expectations to internal teams.

- Coordinate feedback loops between clients and the recruitment team.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Proven track record in business development, preferably in recruitment, staffing, or HR services.

- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.

- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

- Networking and relationship-building capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field (MBA preferred).

- 3-7 years of experience in business development or sales, with at least 2 years in the recruitment/staffing industry.

- Experience in both permanent and contract staffing sales will be an added advantage.
