Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Growth:
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the automobile sector (dealers, distributors, fleet operators, corporates, government contracts, etc.
- Drive sales targets by creating and executing strategic business development plans.
- Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and channel partners.
Dealer & Channel Management:
- Recruit, onboard, and support new dealers/distributors in line with company expansion strategy.
- Build long-term relationships with existing dealers, ensuring business growth and performance.
- Monitor dealer performance, resolve conflicts, and implement dealer incentive programs.
Customer Engagement & Retention:
- Engage with key customers (retail, fleet, and institutional) to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Manage corporate and bulk sales accounts for automobiles, spare parts, or accessories.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through after-sales coordination with service and operations teams.
Strategic Planning & Market Expansion:
- Develop regional and national strategies to penetrate untapped markets.
- Conduct regular market surveys to understand evolving automotive trends, EV adoption, and competitive landscape.
- Contribute to product launch strategies, promotional campaigns, and events (auto expos, roadshows, corporate demos).
Reporting & Coordination:
- Prepare detailed business development reports, sales forecasts, and pipeline status for management review.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
- Track KPIs and ensure business goals are achieved within timelines.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of the automobile industry (passenger, commercial, EV, spare parts, accessories, or dealership operations).
- Proven sales and business development track record.
- Strong dealer/channel management expertise.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data and market insights.
- High energy, self-motivated, and target-oriented.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), and reporting dashboards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA(specialization in Sales/Marketing).
- 3-5 years of experience in sales/business development within the automobile industry.
- Exposure to dealer network expansion, fEV market will be an added advantage
