About the Role:
- We are seeking a Business Development Manager with 5-7 years of experience to lead our business development efforts in Mumbai.
- This is a strategic role for a leader who can not only identify and close new business but also mentor a team, develop high-level strategies, and drive significant revenue growth.
- You will be a key player in expanding our market presence and will report directly to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company's long-term goals.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of business development executives, setting performance goals and providing continuous coaching.
- Key Account Management: Oversee relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Market Expansion: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and expand into new sectors or geographical areas.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Take ownership of the entire sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a healthy and consistent flow of new business.
- Performance Reporting: Monitor and report on team performance, sales metrics, and market insights to senior leadership, using data to inform future strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 5-7 years of proven experience in business development, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Education: A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) is mandatory.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
- Strategic Acumen: Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans.
- Communication: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM software ( Salesforce, HubSpot) and data analysis tools.
- Soft Skills: A highly motivated, results-driven individual with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
