B2B Sales Manager_ FMCG / Foods/ Beverages/ Bangalore
Job Purpose:
The responsibilities include identifying and then closing new business opportunities, developing a sales pipeline, cultivating and monetizing client relationships, and managing key customer accounts.
This role requires strong motivation, communication skills, and the ability to work with clients to understand and articulate their needs, and the ability to work with leadership and delivery teams.
The position is expected to have high level of travel.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead Generation:
- Develop a strong pipeline of potential client leads, through appropriate research and networking mechanisms
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to expand and build industry relationships.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects
- Understand and articulate client needs and align our solutions to meet client needs.
Pipeline Management:
- Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and track progress
- Adhere to established targets for new reach outs, conversion to RFPs, proposals, and deal closure
- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales forecasts and performance metrics
Proposal Development:
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations that showcase our capabilities to address client requirements.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure a seamless, on time and high-quality delivery to clients satisfaction
- Work with the marketing and finance functions
Job Specifications/Qualifications:
- Highly motivated individual, willing to work in a high growth and high pressure environment.
- Bachelors/masters degree preferably with coursework related to the F&B industry;
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of sales processes with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue expansion.
- Excellent written and oral communication, strong presentation skills, and an ability to influence and build relationships at senior decision maker levels.
- Strong focus on timely delivery, prioritize tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset and ability to interpret trends to develop effective sales strategies.
- Team player with strong inter-personal organizational skills
