Job Title: Statutory Audit Manager / Associate Director (Work from Home) Location: Bangalore Experience: 4+ years Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory Key Responsibilities: - Assist the National Professional Standards Practice (NPSP) in ensuring the consistent application of professional standards in assurance engagements. - Stay updated on the latest guidance and regulations issued by authorities and regulators relevant to assurance teams. - Conduct research, prepare, and review initial drafts of knowledge management initiatives and technical guidance such as alerts, bulletins, checklists, model templates, and social media updates in response to new or updated regulations and standards. - Prepare and review internal and external publications released by the National Professional Standards Group (NPSG). - Review and prepare technical consultations on Indian and International GAAP/GAAS. - Lead discussions with assurance engagement teams and NPSP on technical matters. - Provide guidance and support to junior team members handling technical consultations. - Prepare and review MS-PowerPoint presentations for Learning and Development initiatives aimed at assurance staff. - Deliver training sessions to assurance teams on various accounting and audit-related technical topics. - Ensure that planned projects and activities are completed on time and meet the highest quality standards. - Adhere to and ensure the team follows internal processes and policies of the NPSG. - Effectively manage the utilization of available resources, including consultants, trainees, and assistant managers. - Review the work of subordinates and peers, providing day-to-day coaching to ensure high performance. Qualifications: - Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in statutory audits and technical accounting. - Strong knowledge of Indian and International GAAP/GAAS and regulatory standards. - Proven experience in leading and managing audit engagements. - Excellent communication, research, and analytical skills. - Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, for preparing technical presentations. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a remote team.
