As a Manager/Assistant Manager - Transfer Pricing, you will be a subject matter expert, ensuring that transfer pricing reports are prepared in compliance with international tax guidelines. You'll be responsible for assisting in the company's transfer pricing computation, documentation, and planning. You will play a key role in liaising and interfacing with internal and external business partners to address transfer pricing-related matters, including intercompany pricing arrangements for tangible goods, intercompany services, and intercompany financing. You will also handle transfer pricing compliance for group companies, including Local Files, Master File, and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR), and assist in audit defense and participate in various projects from a transfer pricing standpoint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and ongoing operations of a newly created global transfer pricing shared service center.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in transfer pricing, ensuring compliance with international tax guidelines.
- Assist in the company's transfer pricing computation, documentation, and planning.
- Manage the preparation of Transfer Pricing reports for various group entities worldwide, often collaborating with third-party service providers.
- Liaise and interface with internal and external business partners to address transfer pricing-related matters, including:
- Intercompany pricing arrangements between related business entities (tangible goods).
- Intercompany services arrangements.
- Intercompany financing arrangements.
- Intangible goods.
Handle the transfer pricing compliance for group companies, including:
- Local Files.
- Master File.
- Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR).
- Assist in audit defense related to transfer pricing matters.
- Participate in various projects such as legal entity rationalization, business expansion, operational excellence through automation, and process improvement, providing inputs from a transfer pricing standpoint.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution; Master of Commerce (optional).
- 5-6 years of experience in transfer pricing, preferably with a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Preferred exposure to complete or partial Global documentation projects within the transfer pricing field.
- Strong technical knowledge in transfer pricing.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient presentation skills.
